Topshop Clean Cut Satchel

Hello!

Sorry for the late post but Sophie and I decided that we will be now posting on Wednesdays and Fridays from now on. Sometimes we might not be able to post twice a week but there will definitely be at least one a week.
Sophie knows what a weird obsession I have with this bag and recently we had a conversation about me having doubts about writing this blog post because I didn't want to seem like the crazy bag person I am!

Nonetheless I admit I'm in love with this bag. I bought it a few weeks ago when my cross body Superdry bag was looking a bit worse for wear. After 4 years of using it I was a bit reluctant to let it go so before I did I wanted to make sure I had the perfect one to move onto.

This Topshop bag is just perfect! I love the size:it fits my purse, phone, sunglasses and phone charger which is all I need. I like how it's really simple and goes with everything and of course it's black. I'm probably going to be wearing this until it falls apart so look forward to seeing it in many outfit posts.

London OOTD

Hello!

Such an awkward pose but last weekend I went to London and this is what I wore.

Along with going to Wicked I went to the V&A and saw the Wedding Dress exhibition which was amazing. It showed you wedding dresses through the ages; from all the way back from the 18th century to today. Every single dress was incredible and it was interesting to see how each wedding dress changed to match the trend that was going on at the time. It also had Kate Moss's wedding dress and I might have fangirled a little.

After going to the V&A we headed to Kensington High Street where I bought the most gorgeous pair of ankle boots which I've been dying for all season.

Finally we went to see Wicked the musical which was extraordinary (even though it's my 2nd time :o). It just blows me away how strong the singers were and I have to admit the song Defying Gravity brought tears to my eyes!  I seriously recommend it if you fancy seeing a West End show.

Anyway this is what I wore:

Top ten films

As much as I would like to deny the fact that I watch too many films, I can't lie: it's true. At the weekend, most of the time, you can find me laying on the sofa (sometimes with chocolate fingers or popcorn) just watching a film. Unlike some people I like to watch a range of different genres from the likes of Mean Girls a girly chick flick  set in High school , The Hunger Games a sci-fi film set in the future and even on some occasions The Bourne Series an action series, based on the character Jason Bourne. They are, in my opinion, all good in their own way.

But there is one particular genre which I really don't enjoy: horror films. I've got to admit I don't understand why people enjoy the feeling of being constantly 'on the edge of your seat' when someone suddenly screams, dies or jumps out for no particular reason; it doesn't make sense. But to tell the truth, to all the horror film fanatics out there (I know some myself), I've only ever watched half of one but never again that's for sure, half a film is enough. So that is why when I finally get to tell you my top ten favourite films, horror films like Saw will NOT be part of it.

So finally this is my top ten list of my favourite films so far, (although I've probably forgotten some):

1. Jurassic Park (Izzy's favourite!)
2. Breakfast at Tiffany's
3. You've got mail
4. Forest Gump
5. The Holiday
6. Bourne Identity
7. The Hunger Games
8. Pride and Prejudice
9. Ocean's 13
10. Angus thongs and Perfect Snogging

Bonus: the Italian job & Mulan (a Disney film has to be in there some where!)

So they are my favourite films, in my opinion they are all AMAZING! Plus if you, for some unknown reason, haven't watched some of them I would definitely recommend watching them.

Bye for now

Take Me Back to the Seventies

Hello!

Welcome to the first post of 2015! I apologise for the lack of posts towards the end of 2014 but things got pretty hectic around that time of the year. Then we were both greeted by exams at the start of January but hopefully things will get back on track from now on.

I'm going to get right into it by saying oh my lord this trend is amazing. I can not express how in love I am with it. I especially like the flower power look which expresses my inner hippy. ;-) and even though I've described flared trousers and jeans as hideous (sorry!) I can't stop myself from falling in love with them now.

Some of you might have recently seen that Topshop has brought out a whole 70s range and even though I'm a bit scared to try it out and it's completely out of my comfort zone (well except for the floral dresses) I'm desperate to try on some on the pieces.

I'm an extreme lover of vintage fashion (especially 50's) and now that the 70's are in I'm tempted to get my hands on some knee high boots and flower crowns.

My favourite look so far is one featured on the blog I Want You To Know. But here are some other of my favourite pieces:

Thank you for reading,

What are your favourite trends of the 70s?

Tights- tesco
Skirt- newlook

Coat- Tkmax (my favourite item this autumn!)

My Favourite Shop: Topshop

Ok, this is my post on my favourite shop and as you can probably tell from the title it is Topshop! Where do I start; everytime I step into the shop I just feel like I need to buy everything. Everywhere I see something I'm dying to try on. It seems like everytime I go into the shop they've always got new stock and it makes me very happy!

In my last outfit of the day you probably saw that I was wearing the Topshop Leigh Jeans which are my current obsession but unfortunately (I say unfortunately but I'm absolutely loving this weather!) it's been so warm and sunny at the moment everytime I wear them I get crazy overheated. So in the meantime I've been obsessing over the crop tops because they're great to wear in the heat.

Quite a short post but here are some of my favourites at the moment from Topshop.

Fashion exhibition: Pure

So I have resently been to London, with a friend, to an exhibition called Pure which is all about fashion. There was lots to do including going to look through all the 'shops' even though to my dismay we were unable to buy anything because their market was more to the bigger high street shops. It was a very big hall with the accessories on the 1st floor allowing us to see the whole hall in all it's beauty. The cat walks were no exception and I really enjoyed seeing the styles, colours and patterns which the different shops conveyed. The little café in the exhibition was very nice and well needed after the long drive. It was a lovely start and I got a free bag result!
I did however also enjoy the lunch after the our time in the hall, at café rouge, a French restaurant where I did try and speak French much to my friends embarrassment but it must be said we did laugh. After that we did go shopping although I bought very little but I did get, although I was very lucky in not paying for it, a very worth while BB cream from the body shop made by tea tree which I have been using so much after gettig it!

P.s
I recommend this exhibition very much and I know for a fact there is one next year, which I think is in February.
